Where can i get orthotic insoles for toddlers online?

My son has fibular hemimelia which means his one foot is thinner and smaller than the other so it's difficult to get shoes to fit. He has then provided by the hospital with a raise on them but we would like him to have other pairs. Any ideas?

Reply:i also have shoes made for me as i have ra i had one pair made for me but as you have said i wanted to wear different shoes with different outfits i bought shoes that felt comfortable if to big on his sore foot thats ok you can take them to the hospital and have them addapted to fit this will als mean people will not see he has a special shoe and will make him more confident as he gets older
Reply:you need to go back to hospital orthoptis to be fitted properly, its free anyway on nhs
Reply:My daughter wears special insoles to build up her instep because her instep is very flat and she kept falling over because of it. I went to my GP who referred me to a physiotherapist whom she now sees every 3/4 months to check progress and replace the insoles if necessary due to foot growth.
Reply:You should contact the appliance dept at the hospital, and ask them if they can provide other shoes/modifications with a view to you paying for them. We provide this service to our patients with similar requests, although we do let them have a few modifications per year which the NHS pays for.
