My 8 yr old has very bad flat feet the insoles are no good in his shoes. is there an operation for this?

I would go and speak to your GP about this. He could help you in all the right areas about this.

Good luck

He is still young, his feet are still growing. Any form of 'moulding' his feet may damage them, that's why you should always buy shoes that are totally flat inside the shoe. When he reaches about 16 that's when they are about to stop growing and only worry about his problem then. If you are really that worried, then the doctor should advise you.
Reply:Yes, a doctor can remove the feet.
Reply:get him to try and pick marbles off the floor using his toes , my mum was advised to get me to do these execises when i was a kid to help with my flat feet
Reply:There is occupational theripists that can advise on shoes that have built in insoles.

This way he would be ocmpfortable without having surgery.

You really need to see a poditrist is someone who deals with foot disorders. That is what you need.
