Are Dr.scholls gelly insoles good?

I have found them to be great! They relieve a lot of pressure on my heels. I highly recommend them!

overpriced nonsense. Squish, squish. The foot was not made to walk on jel, jelly, or hard lumped orthotics, for the most part. All just a licence to print mullah.
Reply:they are very good i have a gelly insole each morning with a cup of coffee...dunkin donuts has gelly with chocolate icing
Reply:I use them inside my riding boots as they have no padding and little support. They are great for your heels as it cushinons them nicely.


They do however take up some space and if the shoes are tight they are not going to work well.

Reply:They are ok if your shoe is loose. If the shoe is not about a half size too big there is not enough room in there for your food and the pad.

Does anyone know where I can buy arches/insoles that stick to your flat sandals? Regular insoles won't work.

I remember reading about these somewhere, but the usual suspects, Walgreens, Target, Dr. Scholls, don't have them. Anyone have an answer?

Make youre own warm insoles?

I get cold feet and am looking for a good way to make my slippers warmer





any suggestions? currently use bubble wrap, but it pops sometimes.

Fill your slippers with saw dust available at pet shops. This will insulate your feet from the floor and keep them warm.
Reply:My advice would be to buy a better pair of thermal slippers or wear a thick pair of socks.

Reply:Buy Ugg or Emu slippers! They are amazing,you won't to take your slipper off :) I have quite few pairs of Ugg's boots and slippers,I adore them! Check out my suggestions :)

Has anybody used magic insoles for shoe padding/height?

i found this website selling shoe pads that adds a little bit of height.. and i was wondering if anybody has used it or ordered it online? do the pads work are they comfortable? and is the site reliable?

Shaper Image use to have them, but I looked on line and couldn't find them. I have three pair and I really like them. I get what they call heal spurs and with out these insoles it's really hard to walk. They do give you some extra height but they all so made your feet feel better. That was the reason I bought mine. See below I did filly find a listing nimber for them. Looks like I may be getting more.

fact is..insoles will only make you taller while you're wearing them. once your body is done growing, that's it, in fact, your body begins to slowly shrink as you get old.





the theory behind how they work sounds solid...but i don't believe it.
Reply:Try hanging yourself upside down for several hours on end.

yes. most people have foot problems from the wrong shoes. insoles can help, but to fit, you need a shoe a half size larger.
Reply:I wouldn't waste my time and money on anything besides Birkenstocks if i had it to do over again. I bought every sort of foot pain remedy, splint, insole, etc, and spent a fortune. Get yourself a pair of good fitting Birkenstocks - not any larger or smaller than your true size. They come mostly in clogs and sandals, both they do make all types of shoes. They can be expensive if you don't shop around, but there are good deals to be had and I've found them on Ebay, Sierra Trading Post, and Midwest Sports. They have greatly improved the quality of my life by eliminating my foot pain and lower back pain.

Some of my shoes have those toe-imprints.


I don't mind it with my sneaks since nobody looks inside them, however, my flip flops look really well worn and so the stink-association comes to mind.


Not a good start to get a foot rub from a guy in summer...
