My shoes are 1 size too big. I am unable to return them, will an insole help at all? I do not have any foot pains!

Insole question.?
Maybe, try and stuff the tip to them with tissue.
Reply:insoles will help maybe just a tongue pad in the shoe will keep it from slipping. try this great website for products, myfootshop.com. good luck! use the source as a direct link
Reply:an insole could help that sucks that you cant return them good luck with that
Reply:Heel grips might solve your problem.
Reply:Insole may help. But it may stll pain.It is better to discard and buy new. Some shoemakers/repair people make it small .
Reply:Yes, an insole should help some.... maybe get an insole that is also too big so that you can overlap it and it will act as a spacer.
Reply:they sure will
Reply:Yes. Put two or three pairs in the shoes and it will make them smaller.

Insole recommendation?

What type of insole do you find to be the most effective. Try to avoid really expensive ones but if you can't put it down anyway.

Insole recommendation?
Custom made orthotics are best. They'll run you from $80-$200 without insurance.

Insole for shoes? My feet hurt after walking.?

Are there any runners out there who can reccomend a good insole for my running shoes? I walk/run several miles a few days a week and anything over 3miles kills my feet. I have a perma blister on my left foot that always seems to flame up and the arch of my foot hurts after a few miles. I have new good shoes but I am looking for an insole.

Or do my shoes just suck?

Insole for shoes? My feet hurt after walking.?
Honey, I think your shoes suck.

I've had those problems in the past-from blisters so shin splints so bad that I couldn't walk for two days-until I invested in a great pair of shoes. I only spent $65 which isn't bad considering how expensive they can get. I'm just starting off running again and having no pains. Make sure you stretch after warming up, and after your cool down. Stretching + good shoes=comfort.
Reply:SUPER FEET! You will love them. My husband had plantar fasciatis and they helped him out. He's on his feet all day. He wears them in all of his shoes. They are around $30 but worth the money.
Reply:I needed some arch supports and I got the brand- SPENCO- arch supports.....they are really great! just get them in your size-they sell them at Academy! And after a while, if those don't work, the shoes your wearing might not be the right kind for your feet......if its not that it might be that you need orthotics- it is custom made arch supports to fit exactly to your feet....but those are expensive so I would try the spenco's! Good luck!
Reply:Go to Bass Pro Shops if you have one near by...

They have a machine that you step on and it measures your entire foot, arch etc.. everything about your foot.. Then It tells you which insole you will need to have the most comfortable healthy step..

Dr scholls sport insole or springbak springsole?

For basketball season i want to get either of the 2 mentioned insoles for my shoes. Which one do you think is more effective and if you have experience with either please tell me what you thought of them. Thanks in advance:]

Dr scholls sport insole or springbak springsole?
I dont have much experience with springbak, but I did use Drscholls before.

I would not recommend using any insole, since the actual benefit is limited. I really didn't feel a difference, and my Dr. Scholls insole wore down within a month from all the sprinting, lateral movement, jumping, etc.

Definitely a waste of money for me. And it shifted around so much and scrunched up.

I think if you use it for recreational running or walking, it's ok. but for an intense sport like basketball, it's not worth it.

My dog has a foot fetish she either want to kick my feet or go nose first into my shows and lick the insoles.?

All dogs are like that.

Mine puts her food in my shoes and eats from there.

Do you have smelly feet? Dogs like smelly things.
Reply:My dog used to lick my feet all the time... it cracked me up. Everyone thought I was insane for letting her do it but there was no harm in it so who cares.
