How do you remove the insoles of a shoe that is glued in?

Is it safe to just tear it out slowly? Will it damage my shoe? Well i%26#039;m trying to change the insoles of my Van%26#039;s shoes. How do I remove it?

some shoes aren%26#039;t glued. so i can just remove it. but these appear to be glued in, but at least it isn%26#039;t sowed in.

How do you remove the insoles of a shoe that is glued in?
If it seems like it is really in there, it is not just glued, it is tacked in. You will rip up the whole shoe trying to get that out. If the insole can come out without tearing, it will come out with little effort. Vans are just not going to work for your special insole.
Reply:if you wear the shoes the glue will get warm and it will be easier to not only pull out the old insoles, but it will help the new ones to stick to the soft glue.
Reply:AS YOU KEEP WEARING THEM THEY MIGHT LIKE LOOSEN UP AS YOU WEAR THEM TRY NOT TO PULL THEM OT IT COULD RUIN THE INSOLES OF THE SNEAKER
Reply:Just pull it out, the glue isn%26#039;t very strong. Won%26#039;t damage your shoes.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t remove it, if I were you. I%26#039;d just put the new insole over the current one.
